Plein Air Class at the Mill
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2026
A new event will take place at the Mill on Saturday, September 26th. Ten to fifteen members of the Academy of Arts' Plein Air Easton will gather at the Mill between 10 am and 1 pm. The juried members represent all levels of ability from beginning to seasoned artist. Each will select a view that they want to save on canvas and proceed to paint it. Visitors to the Mill will be invited to walk around the artists and talk to them as they paint. Visitors will also be invited to attend a critique session that will follow after 1 pm. The session and critique will be led by Instructor and mentor Diane Dubois Mullaly from the Academy of Arts.
In case of light rain, participants will continue to paint, however, the event will be cancelled in case of thunderstorms. The Mill, however, will be open as usual from 10 am to 3 pm.
Delicious homemade baked goods are offered for sale, along with other holiday gifts and goodies, at the annual Old Wye Mill Christmas Shoppe.
Plein Air class members will hold a class at the Mill on Sept. 26th.
