Dear Members of Old Wye Mill:

The Board of Directors of Friends of Wye Mill, Inc. hope you, your loved ones and friends are
maintaining your health and well being during this stressful and frightening time of epidemic.
We want to let you know how appreciative we are of your support and interest in the Old Wye
Mill. As a volunteer-based non-profit organization, we are all avid history buffs and passionate
about our mission of preserving the Old Wye Mill and working to enhance its significance as an
educational and cultural museum. Thank you for all you have done to help us in that work.

Due to the need for social distancing and prudent caution in the face of the virus, we will be
postponing the opening of the Mill this year until June 1st, or possibly even later, if the virus is
still prevalent. We will keep you advised of the date certain when it is finalized.

We hope we will see you later this year when we can again open our doors to the public. We’ve
been working on many exciting projects to improve the visitor’s experience when visiting the
Mill, and are excited to show them to you. Until then, please stay well and stay safe!

Best regards,

John Nizer
